Silver Lining
When sadness comes
And all around turns dark
And pain is all
There seems no little spark
That's left to light our way
Like flowers and leaves
Which die at Autumn's day
When every flower, and leaf
And bud are gone
And all is night sky
Then comes the single question ...
Why?
But time in passing
Weaves his magic spell
And Spring ...
Will bring new buds and flowers
Sunshine anew amongst the April showers
And I ... even I shall see again the sky
And gather still life's lovely flowers
That spill amongst my grief
And soften every day
Until times tears have all been washed away
And I shall wake again each lovely day
And smile ... and want to write
And want to share my days with you
It is a healing, hard to understand
Hold on ... and God in turn ...
Will take your hand
