Hi it's me back after a long break. I don't spend so much time on the Internet now - don't know why lol. Anyway I've been busy writing poetry recently and here is one that I hope might help someone having difficulty seeing things as they really are:
In an ideal world
It's important to be objective
To see things as they really are
Not merely from our own point of view
Not based on our own mindset
Or the satisfaction
That comes from complaining
Things aren't always as they seem
And cynicism often creeps in
The world needs more kindness,
Warmth and tolerance
We all need to pull together
To praise, encourage, congratulate
Complaints are good
If they lead to improvement - a genuine help
But please let them be couched constructively
And let's have compliments too
To keep the balance steady
And spur us on!
