Has anyone made their May menu yet? I looked back through a couple of days of posts but couldn't find any threads on this. What are you planning on offering?

I barely know what I'm doing in March and you're asking about May?!?!  LOL!

For my two shows this weekend, I'm doing the Caprese Mini Sandwiches and a microwave cake in the Stoneware Fluted Pan.  The my one show next weekend, I'm doing Tiramisu Brownie Squares.  My show last weekend I made the Lemon Herb Chicken Ring.

I have no idea what April or May will bring!

The only thing I know I'm doing for sure, is the Strawberry Margarita Squares at the only show I have scheduled so far.  It's an open house style, so it will be prepared ahead of time.  We are also thinking of other pink foods to have.  My host really wants to push the HWC aspect of the show!

Ok, I know this may not EXACTLY answer your question about a specific menu plan, BUT here's something I pulled up from our Documents that you can peruse to get some ideas:  Help Whip Cancer in the Pink Recipes.doc.

These were compiled last year by Jenn, our fab mod!

HTH at least a little bit,

That is a great document!!!  Be sure to change it to the 7th year for this year vs. 6th year!

thanks Marian, I had forgotten about that doc. I am trying to focus on simple good demo recipes and a lot of the "pink" recipes I come across just arent great demos. I was thinking about offering a normal menu and serving it with one of the pink lemonade or pink drink recipes off that document. Also maybe the mico strawberry cheesecake too. I looked around some last night and here is what I came up with for choices...
Black Bean Salsa Dip with Tortilla bowl
Chicken Enchilada Ring
Tex Mex Chicken Melts

Still thinking about what to offer

Don't forget, I changed the Confetti Pasta Salad a wee bit. I think I just added Mushrooms. Then you can tell your Guests that EVERY vegetable in there are cancer-fighting foods!

You can look up original recipe on CC.

One of our local directors always makes the Strawberry Spinach Salad in May as it's all cancer fighting ingredients - that's an angle you can use too!  HTH Laura
