THE GUN ROOM

Hi guys, I have a good friend whose father is a Korean War Vet and all he has asked for Christmas is a double barreled shotgun with exposed hammers/rabbit ears. He wants an old one (he considers the new ones not as sturdy).

Anybody have any ideas where I can find some for sale. Price is really not an issue here with this friend, she wants to make her pappy proud. She doesn't have a clue about guns so I am trying to find the old dbl in either 12 or 10 ga. Thanks in advance guys.

Rossi, Makes a great coach gun.When I bought mine they were available in 12 or 20 Gage.

I have seen them in Cabelas and Gander Mountain . I think any large sporting goods supplier or gun shop could get you one. This has 20 inch barrels.I don't know if you would want something longer. I personally wouldn't trust any old ones{pre 1930}as most were made with Damascus barrels.

Thanks guys for your quick input, I was not aware of the Damascus barrels so that explains why I joined this group way back LOL!.

Also I will give the web link a try and see what goes.
