Greetings to you all, you gun nuts! From the land of the meek and compassionately tolerant folks from Saskatchewan, Canada.(That's what liberals want us to be)

My son is waiting to grow big enough to get registration plates transfered for his 65 year old Mauser 8mm rifle. He can still legally carry his sling shot and a number of pebbles in the pocket. (no concealed carry permit required yet)

We are only waiting for a truck from a government operated steel recycling establishment to come around collecting our firearms to be later turned into paper clips or something like that.

i em from sask. and i did register my guns but did not want to do so wus forced in to it becouse i feel that if i did not my kids would not be able to enjoy the out doors like i have been able to do fore years and years i believe we have to make this gov. pay in the next election and vote some one else in by fore now

I spent 3 years in the infantry then transferred to the armoured corps after breaking a leg on a jump in Germany 1975. retired as a sgt tank commander (23 years total) and I'm now going to school to learn a trade. I've been shooting and hunting since I was about 9 or 10 with my Dad.

I retired in 1987and in order to get out of the house( you know these chores that the lady wants done all the time) I decided to do these dirty jobs like fishing, hunting and trapping. I will not stop doing these dirty jobs till I have to go and collect my just reward. Dang it, some of us have to do it....

I'm 46 years old. I run loader for 20 years. I now build houseboats for a living.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and just about anything to do with the outdoors. I hunt using a 30.06 remmington, B.D.L., and i reload my own shells. I mostly hunt for moose, but occasionally hunt for mule deer. I'm totally not for the harsh gun controls. I believe that guns don't kill people. People kill people, and guns are just one tool in many.

Hello from B.C. I enjoy fishing and shooting. I work in the security industry. I wore a gun asan armed guard for a couple of years. My dad introduced me to .22's when I was a kid. My very first shot with a .22 was 1/2 inch away from the bulls eye at 50 yards (after much instruction from dad), may he rest in peace. I only wish my eyesight was still that good without glasses (lol). I'm now 42 and (boy do I feel old) I belong to a gun club. I strongly reccommend joining one to the youth of today. To keep it within my budget, I do my own reloading for a 38/357 and a 32 acp. I also own a 1945 moison nagat (don't quote me on the spelling) russian rifle complete with a bayonette and stamped on the top is a hammer and sickle insignia and "1945". And of course I have a .22 lakefield rifle that I got for when my wife accompanies me to the club.

I have been collecting, and shooting for 20,yrs.My step father got me started collecting guns, when he passed away I got his extensive collection. It kills me that our gov't is making it harder to own and buy firearms. I have a13 yr. old daughter who likes to go shooting with me, and I would like her to have my collection when I pass on, but that might not happen. Law abiding citizens all over should not be punished for liking firearms, and have to bear the stigma of a few individuals who use guns for illegal purposes. I am proud to be a gun owner.

38 years old, married, couple of kids. Enjoy outdoors(never have enough time) fishing, a little hunting, camping etc. My father was a marksman/sniper in the Finnish army and taught us children well.....own a few rifles and handguns and belong to the local handgun club. 43 years old. Raised on a farm. Started shooting when I was old enough to walk. Gave up shooting in 1986 after being shot at by some "road hunters". Took up bowhunting with a passion and have been very successfull at it. Started shooting my 270 win again last year and realized how much I missed it. Bought a savage 204 VLP in the spring and I absolutely love this little gun. Now I'm starting to re-load and am having a ball with it. Currently live on 80 acres and have set up my own range next to my trout pond.

Hey everyone, hows it goin? I'm a new member to your wonderful group and I must say I'm glad to be aboard. Canada's Gun laws drive me up the friggen wall. You know the skinny on the Registration system? Apparently when the Idea was passed in '95. they estimated that it would cost the Taxpayers $1 million a year. It turns out they are upwards of $86 million a year and thats just what they will admit! Ok, ok, heres the best part!!! The system is so shotty that pretty much anyone can get a gun anyway!! Apparently people have been getting Incomplete Registration cards (As for me I haven't even gotten mine... I registered one of my rifles 3 years ago!) the gov't has been spending more time and money covering up their F#ck ups! ok, I had better stop before I melt =-)

I'm 21 years old, I have been shooting firearms since I was 8 and I Have the bug! I would LOVE to get a job having something to do with Firearms but I really don't know how I would make a Living! Especialy in Canada! I really want to Enlist in the Infantry as a LAND (Weapons tech), we'll see how that goes.

I'm a bluecollar grunt, late 50s, been interested in firearms for as long as I can remember. I collect firearms, nothing really expensive or magnificent, I just "Like Old Guns"... I have a weakness for the little .22 rimfires though.

I believe in the right to keep and bear arms, and I believe it is every mans right to defend house and home to whatever extent is necessary.

I don't hunt as much as I used to, thanks to my thirdshift hours, and too many assorted surgerys, but I still like to blow holes in paper every chance I get.

hi there i am a 30 year old father of two little girls. i have been shooting for about 25 yrs now and started reloading 2 years agoi am a varmit hunter and am always chasing them yodel dogs i shoot the win mod 70 coyote in 223 and also the 303 brit for dogs sometimes i break out my 280 rem i am a member of the nra and i just joined the oklahoma rifle assoc. i am teaching my princesses to shoot and to reload

I am part of the NZDF and have always wanted to be part of the defense force and I have always been interested with guns. I started to shoot at the age of 3 on our farm in South Africa and have never stopped collecting or shooting since then. I moved to NZ where the gun laws are much stricter and so I had to begin a new collection. One rule, DONT COME TO NEW ZEALAND!!!

I am a God fearing, fun loving family man who just so happens to love fire arms. Hand guns are especially my favorite. It is to bad that I live in Liberal nation that thinks we Canadians would fall down our swords if we were able to carry them around. Tight gun restrictions absolutely infuriate me. I think I am a careful and responsible person and if I want to carry my pistola around, I think that I should be able to. And by the way I still have all of my fingers and toes so you can pass my safety statistics on to my government. Maybe they will give us some levity on this control issue. Oh yeah.......We need a new set of constitutional rights pronto. Look to our southern neighbors if you are having writers block. That is all I have to say about this for now.

I was a Firearms Dealer for 12 years. I've been hunting for 35 years.

Rifleman, Shotgunner, MuzzleLoader, Archer and Handgunner as well. Handguns? Hmmm, that reminds me. I have those 2 sets of custom grips for Ruger Vaquero's in the safe. ( Reminder: Buy Vaquero's for grips!)

Now which ones don't I have? LOL. Did I mention that I shoot S.A.S.S. also? Did some reloading once apon a time. Still have all the equipment and supplies. Saving it for something to do in my later years?? Guess that's why I keep buying more? Everything I have shoots factory loads so well I have no need to load. I shoot most all standard calibers from .22LR to .375H&H and then some. I pour my own lead for .45, .50, .54, .58 caliber BP's and so on and so forth. If I can help I will! If I can remember?

Itsabout time that i found a site that i can relate to.I am proud to say that i am a gunowner

out there in america who would go to great lenghts to discredit the second ammendment.

Apparently they do not appreciate their freedoms as well as i do.We need to stop the rabid

gun control people in their tracks and let them know that they do not run this country.

We also need to stop the government from teaching our kids that the 2nd Ammendment

doesnt mean anything,because it does.It is the only ammendment that keeps us free.

Former US Marine, was attached to the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade 2MARDIV and later attached to the 4th Landing Support Battalion. MOS's were 0311 and 0451. I am a weapons and military history enthusiast. Most of my interest lies in military weapons and small unit tactics.

Typical southern gun nut! I have a small but growing collection. Really into cowboy guns(John Wayne all the way) and old military weapons, but hey if it'll shoot I probably want it. Im 19 and taking gunsmithing classes, but ive been considering joining the USAF security. They get to walk around with m16s protecting air bases... what could be more fun? Anyways, ive enjoyed guns since i was little, it began with throwing rocks... now it is throwing lead. gun restrictions... seems to be "gun registration, gun confiscation, mass extermination/genocide"... i dont like the pattern. keep the peace-
