 There's LOTS of interesting information here. Check it out! To help protect our Second Amendment rights, it is extremely important that we do not remain silent on this issue. Write to your politicians and your newspapers, and become an NRA member. Visit their website to join: National Rifle Association Home Page If you feel compelled to whine, "The NRA is too radical, they never budge an inch" consider this: The gun-haters are just as "radical" as you may perceive the NRA to be, and whenever you give an inch to the Gun Control movement, they take a mile and they will never give it back! Each and every inch of ground lost is lost forever because you can never "undo" gun laws, no matter how ridiculous and ineffective some of them are. Think about it for a second; any sensible politician who attempts to "undo" even the most ludicrous gun law will be labeled a "child killer" by the gun-haters. Private gun ownership has been banned in several nations throughout history in small steps. Gun abolishment can't be done all at once because there would be a major public uproar. So it is done one small irreversible step at a time, with the goal being the complete abolishment of our Second Amendment rights. (If you think this is far-fetched, refer to Sarah Brady's comments on the MAIN PAGE of this web site.) This is why it is so important to stop each step dead in its tracks, no matter how "insignificant" the steps may seem. Gun Control proponents will argue that their restrictions have a minimal impact on us, but restrictions are always followed by more restrictions and it will be a matter of time before they begin confiscating our firearms. You don't believe me? It's already happening in California. Do something about it before you can't anymore.
