EDGERTON�?Michael Kenneth Brandt, 50, of Edgerton, WI, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Haven House in Janesville. He was born on Nov. 21, 1955, in Edgerton, son of Kenneth Frank and Marilyn Elaine (Holt) Brandt. Mike was a lifelong Edgerton resident, graduating from Edgerton High School in 1974. Mike was employed at Truck Country of Wisconsin until his illness forced him to stop working. Prior to that he owned and operated Mike's Pump Service. He also worked at Janesville Transit System. Michael served on the Edgerton City Council, was a member of the Tobacco City Museum, and worked many hours toward the restoration of the Depot. Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading and playing trivia games. He was a proud Grandpa, and his greatest pleasure was the time he spent with his two grandsons. He is survived by his son, Wesley Michael Brandt; grandsons, Damian Wesley Brandt and Dylan Douglas Brandt; his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Wesley Moe; stepsisters, Virginia Vertz and Andrea Moe and their families; uncles: Arthur Krueger and Roger Krueger, Norris Moe and Gilbert Moe; Aunts, Mildred Carter and Lillian Veld; and his father, Kenneth Brandt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, Ronald Krueger; and Aunt, Virgene Davies. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Central Lutheran Church , with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery. Visitation time will be on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, EDGERTON, and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church .
