Too much of anything is a bad thing. Too much of a bad thing is criminal. When discussing bad things and, especially, criminal activities, it is best to observe a pattern of behavior within your subject. To see if the person, for example, who sneaks out an extra newspaper when the box is open is capable of undertaking even bolder chances for personal, emotional, or financial profit. We, here in America, are a forgiving lot; we try our utmost to find the “good�?in nearly every individual that comes our way. This probably explains why entertainers and athletes get away with more than the rest of us ever could. Perhaps, even, this is our greatest downfall.

    When the horrendous attacks on September 11th, 2001 occurred, for example, a sizeable portion of our nation sought out the “reasons�?for such evil behavior. They reflected upon anything and everything that we did as a nation in the hope that somehow miraculous penance would appear absolving us of our past deeds and responsibilities. The rest of us simply saw evil as evil and demanded that the perpetrators be drawn, hung and quartered. Faced with such horrible acts of cruelty, our vengeance against the terrorists is simply a human reaction. We, as a nation and culture of decent human beings, want to survive.

    Regardless of our collective desire to live long and prosperous lives, there are many dwelling amongst us who do not share our concept of civility. They could care less about our future, our past, or us for that matter. They are driven by a sense of criminal introversion that few of us, professional or otherwise, can fully comprehend. Take the 19 hijackers of 9/11, for instance. They wined and dined with our neighbors, feigned appreciation for our schools and music, and proceeded to murder thousands of our friends and neighbors without so much as a boo of warning. Then there is the case of Casey Anthony in Florida; a mother whose child went “missing�?for a whole month before she called for help. My little niece simply rounds the corner in my living room and I am trailing after her to see where she went. Yet, here is a mother whose child is long gone running around partying with strange men and then has to audacity to convince journalists, neighbors, and bail bondsmen that she is somehow the one who deserves empathy. Yes, we are a very gullible nation when it comes to hardened criminal behavior.

    You would think, however, that we could not possibly endorse such a personality for highest office of the land. Yet, I wonder. Do any of us fully understand Barack Obama well enough to make him our most powerful representative? I have spent a lifetime understanding people. Whether as a novelist or as an analyst, I am required to judge personalities, behaviors, and other characteristics most people could not do even with their spouses. After twenty or thirty years of doing this, you begin to fashion patterns out from the most seemingly innocent traits. You begin to notice, for example, how alcoholics can remain “perfect�?on the job while their personal lives descend into absolute chaos. Or you begin to notice that your “friendly�?neighbor is becoming just a little bit “too friendly�?with the passing children. There is no magic in any of this; it merely represents our basic survival instinct long since abandoned by those who profess some enlightening that no longer provides them with that “hair standing up on the back of the neck�?feeling that forewarns of danger.

    This creepy sense of foreboding descended upon me the very first time that I observed Barack Obama and intensified as I watched his actions throughout the primaries and most recently during the presidential campaign against John McCain. Red warning flags began to flutter all around my mind while his masses celebrated with orgasmic frenzy. Sometimes the mental circuit breakers that tripped were rather innocuous, such as when he refused to honor the flag through either proper embracing of his breast or through abandonment of the lapel pin (a personal belief that seems to have changed as of late). During other periods, the flares touched off were from more egregious actions, such as Senator Obama’s two-decade association with a racist, anti-American preacher and his equally close association with an unrepentant terrorist.

    Those who speak of Senator Obama come largely from two different groups. The first represent his followers where he can do no wrong. The other group comes from the conservative branch, which make him out to be something of an Antichrist. As I watch the man through the eyes of an analyst, one word comes out rather boldly: sociopath. Not that I am in any position to qualify him as such, mind you, but his actions do suggest patterns that reflect upon the concept. That is, for example, if I see someone downing liquor to the point that it affects their lives and still they do not cease with consumption over a lengthy period, I do not need to understand their precise psychological makeup to believe they possess the qualities of an alcoholic.

    In Barack Obama’s case, his only goal is to achieve the presidency and, apparently, at any cost. His billion-dollar campaign �?after pledging to utilize public financing �?is reflective of this. His subjugation of personal knowledge also bears this out. Any unattractive or unappealing information is immediately squashed and that which highlights his messianic agenda is empowered.  In this regard, his staff and advisors simply tore a page out of the Nazi propaganda textbook. Obama simply does not care for the personal one-on-one aspects of political reality; he endorses the pageantry of spectacle, a very powerful and (to his followers) dominating force.

    Another trait that alienates me from support for Obama is his complete and unequivocal abandonment of support for Israel in order to appease a religion that makes up only 0.6% of the United States. There are more Buddhists (0.7%) in America than there are Muslims, but I do not see Obama courting their favors. Perhaps if he were Asian�?/SPAN>

    Sociopaths generally do not get along with the opposite sex and herein one has to consider Barack Obama’s treatment of Hillary Clinton. No “normal�?politician on record would intentionally piss off 16,000,000 voters unless they simply did not care about anyone but themselves. And what of his refusal to refute attacks against Gov. Sarah Palin? So if Obama does not care about voters, whom does he care about? That’s easy: Barack Hussein Obama. He simply does not care about others, will use whomever he chooses �?the poor, the blacks, the workers, etc. �?to serve his purpose, and will dispense with them at will once his goal is achieved.

    If you do not believe my thoughts about the junior senator from Illinois who desires, above all else, the highest office in the land, then let’s review some character traits that define a sociopath vis a vie Barack Obama.

Superficial Charm

    You have to admit it; Barack Obama’s whole “image�?seems based around his supposed charm and “eloquence�? I don’t buy it myself, but perhaps it’s just that I see through the smokescreen (I watch his performance on the campaign trail and during the debates and I think “This guy has a college education? He can’t string two sentences together without using ‘Umm�?�?.

Cunning and Manipulative Nature

    Sociopaths never recognized the rights of others and serve their self-interests above all else. They dominate and use humiliation as an instrument against others.

    Barack Obama is the one who quipped that people in Western Pennsylvania cling to their guns and religion as safety nets. If this is not an act of imposing humiliation, I don’t know what is. Furthermore, he keeps reminding people that 1.) They are poorer than the rich are (most of us already know we are); 2.) That we don’t want another eight years of the Bush Administration (As if we are dumb enough not to know that the President has term limits or, alternately, that we’re too stupid to know what’s best for us). Finally, Obama’s campaign staff is forcing people to register and vote early so he can gain their vote before they have had sufficient time to think about for whom exactly they are casting their vote.

Grandiose Perception of Self

    Large fanatical crowds, “presidential�?conferences and photo shoots, green palaces at the DNC. Hello? When was the last time that a candidate measured the drapery before you had a chance to vote them into office?

Pathological Lying

    Barack Obama spent twenty years listening to a preacher spread diabolical hatred and anti-American sentiments and the senator didn’t hear any of it? Listen, I went to Michigan State for about six months. On one Sunday, I heard one the priests get up in front of the students and say, “Someday, there will be women priests. The Holy Spirit is just too powerful not to allow that to happen!�?That was the last time that I attended that particular parish but Obama, after more than 1,000 attendances, never heard Reverend Wright utter anything hateful. Either Barack Obama is stone deaf or he is lying. Now, what to make of his thoughts about Ayers?

Lack of Remorse, Shame, and/or Guilt

    Barack Obama maintains close relationships with known terrorists, racists, hate-mongers, anti-Semites, and anti-American communists/socialists and he doesn’t think there is anything wrong with the associations? I once ended correspondence with a foreign business associate merely because he endorsed Obama three years ago�?/SPAN>

Early Behavioral Problems or Juvenile Delinquency

    Barack Obama admittedly used cocaine and other drugs during his youth and ran around with the wrong type of people. Most of us, I am quite certain, never touched a drug in our lives. Well, I never did�?/SPAN>

Irresponsibility

    This might be a tough one to call, for the senator keeps his life under wraps. However, I propose the same felonious associations that he maintains, as well as his association with groups such as ACORN, etc. Lastly, anyone �?repeat, ANYONE �?who endorses abortions is irresponsible, to say the least.

Parasitic Lifestyle

    This one is easy. Barack Obama is the poster child for socialism’s “spread the wealth�?mantra. He is sucking up other people’s money to fund his ascendancy to the presidency and he feeds off his followers like some cannibalistic tribesman.

Criminal/Entrepreneurial Versatility

     What this trait means is that a sociopath will change their lifestyle or their life story (identity, etc.) to suit their desire. Now we all know that Barack Obama has changed his name, his religion, his beliefs, ad infinitum. How much more obvious can the man be other than, perhaps, shielding all records of his past to ensure that he might be able to pull off one more manifestation of his character: that of morphing into a full-blown communist overlord.
