We have a lot of Elk around our place. When be bought our new P.U. I had a brush guard put on it. I drive with care going out to the road because the elk will just stand and stare at you as if to say"when I'm ready I'll move". Rule up here is you hit an elk with your vehicle and live to tell about it you can keep the elk or it goes to the needy.  To tell you the truth it's too expensive to total a vehicle just for an elk. Almost time for Elk up here in this area. Lots of hunters on the road and parked beside it Sat. when we were coming home.
