Before my accident left me with limited use of my left shoulder, I used to work in the oil and gas industry in northern Alberta. The big corporations told us that weapons were not allowed in our vehicles while parked in the plant parking lot. They stated that the vehicle is not concidered private property while parked on their property and is liable to search. I brought my .12 ga pump mossberg mod 500 loaded with slugs and kept it on the back seat of my truck covered with blankets and other gear. I did alot of flyfishing after work, and in the wilds of northern Alberta, there is more than just the occasional bear encounter happening. To hell with their stupid laws! My self preservation is more important.
