OK, Good people,
I have a model 70 Winchester with a P.O. Ackley barrel that will only give me 5'' groups at 50 yards with 210 gr Nosler Partition bullets, and 3'' groups at 250 yrds with the Sierra 215 gr bullets. My powder charge is 56 gr of IMR 4350 with both bullets, virgin Winchester 30-06 brass, resized in RCBS dies,and Federal Large Rifle primers.
I can understand a little difference,but not thing like this.
