My father-in-law has had the barrel of his Astra A-70 in 9mm Lugar carry gun develop a small crack.  Still shots fine but of course needs to be replaced.

 

I have beat about the web trying to find a source for a new barrel.  Haven't had any luck.

 

Can't he have a barrel shipped directly to him without an FFL?

And it need no gunsmithing, just drop it in?
