Hello all!  I told Tina's story on another one of the message boards here, and thought this was a more appropriate place to post a picture of her.

Isn't she cute?
Pam

Hey shortygurl!  Tina was 7 1/2 months old when I got her 3 months ago.  My vet gave her to me.  A breeder had brought her into his office.  That breeder had gotten her from another breeder just to get her out of a bad situation.  When this second person brought her to my vet, she wanted to put her to sleep because she has only one eye and she "spins" in circles.  Well...my vet refused to euthanize her.  He felt she could be placed if he could just find the right home.

I had recently lost my 10 year old terrier named Taterbug to lymphoma, but I still had 5 other dogs.  I didn't really WANT another dog, but when I held her, I fell in love with her.  I went home and got my husband and we came back and took her home with us that night.  She has been a real challenge.  She is so wide open all the time.  But, I took her to obedience classes and, can you believe it, she earned her Canine Good Citizens certificate.  She has stopped spinning now except when she gets very, very excited and when she has to use the bathroom.  She is a fabulous little yapping dog, even if she does have only one eye....that just makes her special.  I can't imagine that someone would want to have her euthanized!
Thanks for asking!  I love to talk about Tina, lol!
Pam

TalkingCathyJean, you mentioned "found each other again" and "reunion".....do you think we've known each other before?  I hadn't thought of that.....
