Homework - In the next few nights, when it's dark. I want you to go outside to your backyard or front yard and take some pictures. While doing this I want you to look over the digital camera and into the flash. Do you see sparkles or illuminated glitter? What do you see in the pictures? You should have some false orbs created by dust or pollen. The whole idea behind this exercise is to get you to know what false orbs on your camera look like. On some camera's they have a tell tale look. Post your findings and thoughts, and we'll discuss this more in detail. Frank |

Hi Frank: I've shaken my dog down in front of the camera, following the instructions that you've given and I can't even capture a false orb! LOL!!! Shall I wipe out the 20 pics that I've snapped and try again?! Love and Light, Louellen |

Louellen, Consider yourself lucky. The relationship of where the lens and the flash are located to each other must offer you the benefit of not having to photograph the dust orb glitch. My best digital camera is a sony, which has a barrel lens that sticks out about 6" from the flash. The setup of where the lens and flash are elimante about 95% of dust orbs. So one thing to consider when getting a digital, is to make sure that the flash is away from the lens as much as possible. Frank |
