Shalom to the household of Saints that are called according to his purpose and who are seeking for the perfect will of Yahweh unto all wellpleasing in his understanding.
"PROOF" What is Proof?
I hear so many offer a few scriptures concerning a topic and express that this is proof that what they are teaching is right or that it is proof of truth for that topic.
What is accepted as "proof" of the truth?
2Tim. 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of [Yah-weh] , and is profitable for doctrine, for "reproof" for correction in righteousness:
17, that the man of [Yah-weh] may be perfect, thouroghly furnished unto all good works. ~End~
Then we have another place in the bible that says this about "proof".
Eph. 5: 9-11 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, and righteousness and truth. 10. Proving what is acceptable unto [Yah-weh].
11. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of "darkness" [error or deception] but rather "reprove" them. ~end~
And Romans 12: 1-2 says this about this important issue;
Rom. 12:1 I beseech you therefore brethern, by the mercies of [Yah-weh] that you present your [fleshly] bodies a living sacrafice, holy , acceptable unto [Yah-weh] which is your reasonable service. 2. And be not conformed to this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may "proove" what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of [Yah-weh] . ~end ~
So, What is proof? When ever a person quotes a scripture in support of their teaching , does this mean he has presented "proof" that his Idea and concept of what he is teaching has been prooven? NO! Absolutely Not!
So , what is Proof?
2Tim. 2:15 (says this) Study to show yourself "approved" unto [Yah-weh], a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, "rightly dividing the word of truth". 16. But shun profane and vain babblings, for they will increase unto more ungodliness. ~end ~
So what is "Proof"?
Yah-weh must approve you ! And How does he "approve You"?
It is the Mind, and the Understanding of Yahweh that he had when he gave the word to be obeyed and understood !
We are raised in this "world" with difinitions of things and reflections of a ficticous life style, that is "enmity to Yahweh" being based upon "commercializim" and "secularlizim" instead of "Yah-weh's" approveal being searched out in the matter.
In Romans 8: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the spirit the things of the spirit.
6.For to be Carnally [fleshly] minded is death, but to be spiriturally minded is life and peace.
7. Because the carnal [fleshly] mind is enmity against [Yah-weh], for it is not subject to the law of [Yah-weh] neither indeed can be.
8. So they that are in the flesh cannot please [Yah-weh].
9. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit if so be that the Spirit of [Yah-weh] dwells in you, Now if anyman have not the Spirit of [Yah-weh] he is none of his. 10. And if [Messiah] be in you , the body is "dead" from sin. But the Spirit is "life" because of rightousness.
11. For if the Spirit of him that raised up [Messiah] from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up [Messiah] from the dead shall give life to your "mortal bodies" by his spirit that dwelleth in you.
12. Therfore breathern, we are not "debtors" to the flesh , to live after the flesh. ~end~
Well,, now what is Proof? It has been well spoken here, to describe someone who is not an enemy of Yahweh. It is the one that is "dead to the flesh" who is "spiritually minded" and is subject to the laws of Yahweh !
If your carnal body and its desires keeps you serving the desires of the flesh and doing that which you know to be contrary to the laws of Yahweh as to what is righteous , then you do not have a spiritual mind, you have not been given life and peace, by a miracle such as the Messiah was given at the ressurrection from the dead, and you are still dead in your sins! This is proving things that are acceptable to Yahweh in action and in word!
Now then suppose you are still Carnal minded what must you do to be approved of Yahweh? YOu must , be born again of the Spirit, so that your actions are the results of the Spirit of Yahweh in control of your fleshly body instead of a carnal mind being in control.
John 3: 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. 7. Marvel not that I said that you must be born again.
8. The Spirit moveth where it is directed, and you hear the sound of it, but can not tell where it is going. So is everyone that is born of the Spirit. ~end~
Well , What about "Proof"?
A person who is still being led by a carnal fleshly mind , thoughts, actions, and deeds, is not prepared nor capable of "prooving what is that perfect and acceptable will unto all pleasing of Yahweh, because he or she is handicaped , whithout being born again of the Spirit first.
Because all Scriptures was given by "inspiration of the Spirit" and are not written for the fleshly mind to understand or to privately interpret from the fleshly minds point of understanding.
1 Cor. 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom amoung them that are perfect [mature in the Spirit] , yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to fleshly emptiness.
7. But we speak the wisdom of [Yah-weh] in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which [Yah-weh] ordained before the world unto our Splendor. 8. Which none of the princes of this world had knew, for had they known it they would not have crucified the [Yah-weh of Splender]. 9. But it is written, eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which [Yah-weh] hath prepared for those who love him.
10. But [Yah-weh] hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit, for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of [Yah-weh].
11. For what man knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man,? Even so the things of [Yah-weh] knoweth no man, but the Spirit of [Yah-weh]. ~end~
And So What is Proof? How do we know the things of Yahweh? If we are born again, of the Spirit , then we can know the things of Yahweh! Otherwise , we only comprehend what man can know as a fleshly carnal man.
