Proverbs 20:22
Don't say "I will get even for this wrong." Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.
We are in such a rush to see people who've wronged us "get theres". We can even be known for taking pleasure in someone else's pain, "Well they hurt me--they just got what was coming to them." But the Word of God clearly tells us to "Wait for the Lord to handle the matter." The best thing you can do when wronged is Pray! Pray for the person who wronged you ; Pray to God to help you let go of your pain, anger, & hurt. Truly friends, we only hurt ourselves when we carry around an attitude of revenge. Pray for those who hurt you. And Trust God at His Word !
"Wait for the Lord to handle this matter."
Father, we thank You that You are a God of Your Word.
Thank You for Your comfort, peace, and for listening to us when we have pains, hurts, and struggles. You know what is best in each situation and we trust in You. Thank You Jesus.We love You ! In Your Name, Amen..
