Prov 4:18 But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just {and} righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared].
As the sun begins to rise the shadows grow smaller, the color of the sky slowly gets lighter and lighter until the golden ball of the sun begins to shine across the land and water. When life's circumstances cause us to lose our focus we sometimes do not see things as bright and clear as the perfect dawn of a new day's sunshine. One day I had a vision where everything was completely dark around me. All I could see is the outline of the face of what appeared to be Jesus shining a light right in front of my feet. There was no light anywhere else. I could only see right in front of my feet. The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, walk in the light that is before you. Do not walk in anyone elses path. Walk step by step in my light and wait for me to shine the light to guide you. Do not look to the darkness but only follow the light before your feet. We only have today, this moment and the light the Lord has given us is to walk with a clear conscience in the light of His love and righteousness. As we reach our full strength, just as we see things clearly on that day, Jesus will be our light always and we shall never fear the darkness as long as we hold to the light He gives us and only go on the path of His righteous purposes in all things. Once we were blinded by the same light that now shines from within us unto that perfect day when we shall see the sun rise in the hearts of all those we lead to Jesus on His path of light. IN HIM there is no darkness.
