James 5:13 Is anyone among you afflicted (ill-treated, suffering evil)? He should pray. Is anyone glad at heart? He should sing praise [to God].
James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders (the spiritual guides). And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord's name.
James 5:15 And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
James 5:16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed {and} restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

Yesterday was the token national day of prayer. Last night on the radio there were people calling in to pray nation wide on the radio. I was listening to their voices and how each person was ordering God to do this and for Him to change what can not be changed. The key thing in prayer is, IF>> the will of a person is resigned to God's will , then God will hear from Heaven. When I heard some yelling at satan and some with loud voices as if they had to shout, I just shook my head. In the book of Acts, when they were all of one heart, one mind, one spirit, great things were wrought among them. Each thought that nothing they had belonged to them. They never ordered God to move this or do that or change that. Most of their  prayers were in praise, adoration, exalting God's sovereignty and worshiping His mighty deeds. If this country would repent and change the wicked state it is in, then God would hear but the end is near and we can not change what is happening in prayer because God will not force anyone to deal with the sins of their flesh.
When I heard the praying, I heard the whisper of the Holy Spirit and that is why I say, Jesus is coming soon. Purify your own life and watch for Him to take us home. WE are in this world but not of it and we need to have a cleansing from the fountain of His blood every day and have our lamps lit and ready and separate ourselves from the filth around us as much as possible. Look up, for Jesus only hears the heart of those who trust in Him as their refuge, and way to the father.
