Every day you awaken through all the minutes that pass,
there is always someone with a prayer need to ask.
There is sickness for which a healing is due, and trials
people are facing which they need to get through.
There are financial burdens that need to be met; and
tribulations people haven’t come upon yet.
There are Mountains to climb where the air is thin, and
journeys on which people must begin.
There are doors that we need to ask be shut tight; and
other doors to be opened to show us what’s right.
There are folks who have no bed in which to sleep, their
lives endangered by every kind of creep.
There are those who’d appreciate what we complain about,
and yet their faith leaves no room for doubt.
There are little ones being abused or molested, an
agonizing way for a little one to be tested.
There are folks who have never known love at all; they
need to be prayed for so they hear God’s call.
There are shames and humiliation some of us have never
known, we need to pray God’s love will be shown.
Our Heavenly Father waits ever so patiently, to hear the
prayer needs of others lifted up by you and me.
