We all started out not knowing what was ok and what was dangerous, and I think it's just human nature to think that if a pet store sells something for a particular animal or bird, it must be safe. I think I mentioned before that when I got my sun conure I could fit all my bird knowledge on the head of a pin with room left over. We've all just gotta do the best we can, and try to keep learning everything we can to keep our pets healthy and happy. Shoot, even my avian vet will tell me that she's constantly getting new and updated information on bird care that may change the way it's been done in the past. Kudos to you for recognizing the danger of corn cob bedding and using something proven to be safe instead. |

If you have any small animals like ferrets, or hamsters you could use it with them. You're doing fine, reading and learning That's all anyone can do! Nan |
