Marianne, the netherlands is on no male because of my vacation to Kroatie/Austria for at about two weeks,

Have a wonderful time in Kroatie/Austria, Marianne! You'll have to tell us about it when you get back, and also about your holiday in Spain.
 
Living in the Netherlands makes you so close to places in Europe that I'd love to visit!
 
I'll look forward to hearing about your trips and your birds when you get home again.

I haven't had a vacation in 18 years. How come you get to go to Spain and then to Kroatia/Austria all in one summer?
My paternal ancesters are from Czechoslovakia, Austria and Germany. I'd love to see where they lived. The houses in Czech are still inhabited by my family.

I sure hope you take a camera so you can make us all green with envy over the vacation.  Have lots of fun and don't get lost over there!
