Conversation with shallow people tends to remain on a very superficial level, often relating to the everyday details of their lives or the affairs of others; gossip is almost exclusively the domain of the shallow. Shallow people are not very educated and tend to look to the media or chat rooms to give them their views on beauty, relationships, and standard of living. Thus, they seek out others in chatrooms and seek approval that match society views. Shallowness is occasionally not genuine but an act performed by a person who is insecure or in need of attention from totally strangers in chat rooms. Shallow people love to show off in chat rooms like, "Look at me, look at me!!!! My cousin died in the Pentagon and my son just got back from the Afganistan War. Shallow people never last for long and like a puddle of water that dries up soon in a chat room. They are here today and gone tommorrow. At first they sprout and then they bud and bloom. However, in no time they fade, wither, decay and die with cyber friends that do not really care one way or another. Shallow people are unsteady and surreal and the other people are profound, stable, and very, very real. Shallow personalities seeks the Self and the others are people that are self-seeking and gives pleasure and pain; where shallowness seeks self importance and attention. This is the life cycle of lies lived by an misguided screwed up person. |
