Freecycle is relatively new (as of 2004) but growing everyday. You can go to www.freecycle.org and find out if there is an online group already set up in your area. It's a great way to give stuff away, and to occasionally pick up something you really need (but be careful! The idea is to de-clutter.) Also, be aware that most of the groups require that you offer something to give away before you get to ask for anything. -- Brenda
