Well the rain finally came.  Then the snow, all in the evening and overnight hours.
Hubby called and forbid me and the grandson from even attempting to go to the office, our driveway (about 1/4 mile long and all uphill) is a sheet of glare ice with loose snow on top of that.  And the side roads are nasty too.
So I will be home today with the grandson.
I think today will be a good day to try to either clean the fridge or tackle the bathroom.
My bathroom shelves are literally overflowing.  Whenever I try to take something out of the shelving area I end up toppling four or more items onto the floor in front of it.
The fridge is stuffed to the max.  I need to find a way to deal with all the 1/2 and 1/4 full bottles of sauces and condiments.  They take up so much space.  Wish they had "shrinking" bottles.  That as you use something up it gets smaller, and smaller...............

Ok, baby steps..............
I emptied the freezer section of the fridge and sorted everything.  I had a lot of stuff that could go to the barn for the wild cats that I feed.
I need to shut the fridge off and give the fridge and freezer a good cleaning followed with a baking soda water rinse.
I found some items that need to be used so I am getting ready to make an apple, cranberry crisp with orange sauce.
I have a couple of Italian sweet sausages that I put in a ziplock a couple weeks ago.
I think I will make a manicotti with spinach and the sausage for supper.
That will free up more space and use some close dated products.
AND use minimal dishes and pans!

Sunday I got the Demon Seed to help me haul recyclable bottles back to the store.....O how I long for the good old days when you could just hurl such in the trash.  Well you prolly still could I guess but I think you can get fined for not recycling maybe, dunno.

Anyways, we made $14.75  in nickel deposits.  Called for pizza posthaste & ate it off paper plates LOL
