No, that's not a rallying cry LOL.....I was just reading this thingy about how peeps have lots of clutter lollygagging about simply because it's "free". OK I don't do this my good self as Granmere used to & it drove me nuts (you can't "see" in em to see what's in em), but raise your hand if you wash out plastic containers like from Cool Whip & sour cream & stuff like that thinking you're gonna re-use em for leftovers or other "stuff" someday. Or how bout when you get suckered into buying something because it comes with a "free gift with purchase" thingy (like, when you get a makeup bag with mascara or a bottle of perfume that comes with lotion or whatever). Or that whole "buy one get one free" thingy they have at supermarkets & drugstores (when you know you're never gonna get to that "free" bottle of vitamins before they expire or eat that "free" chip dip before it gets icky).
Or the worstest one of all, when peeps bring stuff over & go Ise purging ya want this? & then you got other peeps' crapola acuz it was "free".
Are ya really using that "free" stuff, or is it just "free clutter" for ya?
I purged my bathroom vanity over the weekend & yesm I never used that "free" mouthwash & "free" toothpaste & "free" lotion afore it got funky neither It's all organized & pretty now & corralled in baskets & I was disgusted to realize I had THREE boxes of tissues in there & I just bought one acuz they wasshoved in the back behind other stuff
What slays me is, when I mentioned I was undertaking the purges, my neighbor sez to me OOOOOOOOOO don't throw nuffin out till I gets a looksee at it!
Yesm her apartment IS worster than mine LOL & pfffft I am so not hanging onto purged crap so she can pick thru it & then yell at me when she gets a rash from that lotion from 1999
Ugh....that neighbor I mentioned above....apparently some friend of hers purged closets & brought over copious amts of clothes, so she decided whatever SHE didn't want she was gonna come drop on MY doorstep I was ackshuly rather insulted by it acuz she said o these is too big for me like she was svelte which she AIN'T However HELLLOOOO Greeny had the revolting sicks & done losted 28 lbs from it so pfffft if they's too big for YOU then they's WAY too big for me missy.....like I wanna haul this crap off now It's taking up valuable closet floor space
