MSN will be dropping all its groups as of Feb. 1.  Group owners are being given the option of migrating all the existing messages and other material on the site to something called Multiply.  I am not willing to continue moderating the group because of the general lack of participation by the majority of the members.  If someone would like to take over the group, that's another possibility - you would then be responsible for migrating to Multiply.  (we can figure out how to do this, if someone is interested - I will get more info).  So, let me know your thoughts on what to do with the group. Thanks -- Brenda

Hi Brenda

I'm afraid I have been one of the lurkers. I read the posts but although I have sent in posts, I have not done so lately. I seem to spend all my time fighting the paper tiger that drops through our letter box every day. I have several part-time jobs which means that I get paperwork for all of them. It is paperwork and clothing that are my main clutter. I also buy far too much on impulse, then regret the waste of money so hang on to the offending item in the faint hope I just might use it one day.
I shall be sad if the site has to close, perhaps Greensleeves would like to keep it going if you can not. She seems to contribute regularly.
Regards
Alvine - England

Hi Mrs Dee and Greensleeves -- Let me see how this swap over to a new site works and then I will see if I can figure out how to hand over the reins.  Thanks! -- Brenda

All you'd have to do is go into the Member List here & change our status from members to managers, then we could go ahead & move it for ya.  Done a lot of research on it & have been communicating with the Yuku tech cupport about stuff involved.  Multiply quite frankly SUCKS & almost no one is going there because of how bad it is.
