Just saying hi ~

I am so sad about the group changes.  Of course, I don't understand why MSN has opted to shut them all down, other than it's too much trouble for them to continue to maintain them.  Such a pity.

I have been trying to get a few things accomplished & seem to spend too much time planning.  I got so tickled the other day, my daughters S.O.  (significant other) came down the other day & swept & swiffered my 3 big rooms upstairs.  Cracked me up ~ he must have been getting prepared for home cleaning as they have done that Fri nite & this a.m. at home & spent most of today cutting wood to sell.

My granddaughter is in Indiana (actually coming home now) for a National Future Farmers of America Convention.  Woo hoo.   I'm sure she had a good time.

I made her a silly little purse yesterday, while I was pondering a coat/capelet that I want to do for my little sister.  She had the cutest one when she was here & I thought it might be fun to try to make one.  I need to get my machine cleaned tho as it seems the feed dogs want to pull lopsided.  I called this morning about an appointment ~ 2 weeks average shop time.   Uck! as I use my machine a lot, even for scrapbooking stuff.  I do have an old one I can drag out for that I suppose.   I would love a new one that has more features than mine but  . . . .   you know that old cost monger thing.

It has been so pretty here with the leaves turning.  I found out today I need to dig up my dahlia's  (my first year growing them) so I wasn't sure how they were done.   My cactus plants are starting to bloom, some of them will bloom till about May.  Always amazes me how long they last.

All be safe ~ I hope the group finds a good home.  Is there anything on the Pro-Health boards that would be functional?

Haven't had the computer on in several days - just have felt sort of bored with it - been doing a little reading and a little fall cleaning.

Swept leaves on the deck AGAIN this afternoon.  Has turned much cooler.  And I still have green tomatoes on the vine - guess I have to fix some fried green tomatoes.

We might go fishing Thursday night - definately going next week - I will probably be gone for 4 or 5 days.  Plus talked to Katie today - we will be doing Thanksgiving at the beach.

Talk at y'al later - probably won't be back on the computer until Wednesday.
                    Love and peace,

A big Hug for everyone. Well here I sit with a warm drink enjoying the warm house. I had some errands was going to run, but when that Colder air hit me & the sleet, decided to stay indoors. Have been doing some looking on this here puter, plus getting some house work done. Just taking it rather easy today, since I worked like crazy yesterday till my leg was so sore I could hardly walk on it. Not sure if it is arthritis kicking around, or these weather fronts moving around. Maybe I'm becoming a human berometer. Mot sure if that is spelled correctly.
This closing of the MSN Groups really ticks me off. I can't figure out the problem. Unless it has to do with our economy. Which is a factor I wish not to get started on. Each to his or her own there. But lets just leave it, that the idea really saddens me. I feel like I am losing a big family. Gotta run & get some other stuff done. Makes me misty every time I start talking about it.

Just stopping by....

Gaylene, I too have been pulling my hair out with trying
to find a good place to go.
I hear glowing reports for YUKU and AMIOO....hardly anyone
is happy with Multiply. I'm going to try to open a group at
AMIOO and see what happens.
Only problem with YUKU so far, with what I'm reading, is once
you set up a group.....you can't cancel it without writing to Management.
So, if you want to set up a sample group to "test" and don't like it, you'll
have to write a letter to Management. But, other than that, everyone
seems pleased with that set-up.
Some groups, which are heavy in graphics, are going to "proboards".

What a mess MSN has caused.

But, most are just trying to find someplace to go....just like here....
some have "set up shop" but are determined to keep their MSN
group together "for the Holidays".

I, like most, am so saddened by this decision to close all the groups.
Some very talented PSP'ers are just throwing in the towel....which
is a great loss to the PSP world.  Hopefully, in time, they will
change their minds and return.

It's all very depressing.

I'll try to pop in tomorrow.

Good Morning, I decided not to go to home league today, but stay home and do  some stuff on computer as well as  some things I have ben neglecting here at the house.

Still looking at other sites for our group. I don't think I will be moving a lot of things, especially all of the recipes.

I also have made ome decesions as far as the running of the group here until they close us. I will be posting sn announcement the first of the month. I also hope to have made a decesion as to where we will be moving.

Hi all, just sitting here enjoying my lunch after a short run to the store. Just had a few things we absolutely had to have, after a few days of putting it off.
Hubby kept saying the weather is so nasty, why go out? We are still having that sleety, snow mix that Lake Erie stirs up every year. The weather predicts by Friday, Halloween, to be about 60. Up & down weather. That is NE Ohio for you. MSN closing still makes me sad

Hi Guys.....
Hope everyone is feeling a little better today about
the closing of all the groups by MSN....I'm still
having problems with it, but I guess we will all have
to make adjustments.

Gaylene, from what I've seen...I don't know how in the world
you would move all the recipes we have here.
Maybe we could start over and build the group back
up with recipes?

Glo - have fun....we will miss you while you're gone.

Think I will sew today.  I've only got two designs left
to put on my Halloween shirt and then I've got to get
it washed and ironed so I can wear it tomorrow.
It turned out pretty cute, with all the "silly halloween stuff" I've
put on it....

See ya'll later.
Enjoy your Thursday

Well we ended up not taking off for the beach especially since we have a long weekend coming up the 7th.  Just as well as I have important bills that must be taken care of tomorrow after lunch.

And Katie called and said she was coming.  Of course she is only coming by here a bit - she and some local friends have a night of cards and board games planned.

Have been thru most of the boxes of junk in my bedroom and the charger for my laptop has yet to appear.  I am getting a little frustrated.  But then I have been so bored with the computer the last 2 weeks that I don't guess it matters if I find it before I take off next week.

Teresa came today and we did more work in the front living/library.  Still not finished but looking good.  Karen had called and had gotten to me about her use of MY cell phone and when I said something to her about abusining privilages she started screaming and telling me what a horrible mom I was when she was growing up and how she was my best child and on and on and on.  I tried to get a word in to tell her that I was going to hang up until she could talk with out yelling but I couldn't so I finally just hung up and took the phone off the hook which of course she didn't like and called Leighanne.  But I have to look after my sanity so I just couldn't listen to it.

Went by two of my groups last night - one on yuku and one on multiply.  I can tell all the new sites are going to be murder on my desk top - when I ran my disk clean up after 2 hours my computer had been loaded down with STUFF!!!! And yes I did run the clean up the day before plus I had the internet disconnected until right before the 2 hours I was on the computer.

The last 2 days have been really pretty but our nights have been cold.  Everyone is talking about how early the cold has arrived.

Hunting season has started.  The woods behind my house were full of dogs this afternoon. Haven't let Maggie out and StarBuck was on a lead.

Tuesday StarBuck along with Charlie (my toy poodle)wondered over into the yard across the street (where the chickens are) and Angela came unglued and made a nasty call to me.  As best I understand they didn't try to get into the coup just had gone in the back yard.  They had only been out 15 minutes and I was out in the back on the deck cleaning.

She was upset because she had sent one of the children over and I didn't answer the door - I was on the deck - didn't hear the knock.  She said they fired their gun - I never heard one - ummmm.

Both of my tail lights are out on the Explorer.  I forgot all about it until Teresa went to pick up our catfish sandwiches.  When she got back she was telling me that it had scared her because there was a car right on the bumper going over to the grill.  Then I remembered that I had ment to take the car in last Monday to find out what was wrong - must be a fuse for both to be out.  So anyway I have to get that done tomorrow.
            Love and hugs,

What a cute little bear on your siggie Glo.

I'm just posting to help make the 100 mark before the month is over.

I got PSP 9 the other day & have been prowling it.  Like I need another project going on!

Have been working on my scrapbooking stuff.  Ordered another 60 photos so I can scrap even more, ha ha.  I did make a bunch of pages with nothing particular in mind & my sisters recent visit will be perfect for that.  They were fall oriented & we went to an old mill place that was very scenic.

Hope all of you have decent weather.

Well Joy I don't think we will made it - but Mary we did try so I think we ALL deserve one  hint  hint -

Definately a short in my tail lights - have to leave it at the station for a couple of days next week so they can try to trace it down.  When I got in car to take it to town the signals worked perfectly thru several stops and starts and then boom they quit again.

Daddy put a damper on our plans to take off to the beach next week. I got the "what a burden I am to him" and then it was "am I aware of what a burden I am to him" - so I will only go down for one night to take the children next Monday week because I promised them.  That way I won't be using the electricity and heat but for 1 day.

And he got upset saying what a sorry Christmas it will be for everyone.  Unfortunately he puts a lot of stock in material things at Christmas because as a young boy and young man he had nothing and he remembers the hard times.

He thinks that I don't.  But I was certainly aware of the lean years and it didn't hurt me one bit.  And my crowd needs to learn that material things are not what Christmas is about.

I told him not to worry about my family - that I have already spoken to all of them - it is fine with Buster, Katie and Leighanne - it is Karen who has the least money of all that just doesn't get it.

Have also canceled our Thanksgiving plans.  So now Katie wants to know if I will go that way - I will probably just stay home and work on my Christmas tree.

It will not be the first time I have stayed at home.  That sort of gets rough on my calorie count.  There are always at least 3 people who have found out I am by myself and always send a bunch of food over to me LOL So I have got to keep quite this year.

I have been naughty today - haven't done my box of junk a day.  Went to town - came home - started wash - mopped FurBaby den - filled the dog food barrel - fed the wild kittens - let Ben out and watched him for a bit then spent the rest of the afternoon reading.

Well let me run post a bit -
                   Love and peace -
