you are so right NC is the ONLY way .My ex did a great smear campaign on me ,stole my address book and wrote to virtually everyone in it ,cc'd the letters to my lawyer,social services schools etc.It was a valuable excercise actually for me ,it sorted the wheat from the chaff in terms of who were my real friends and who wasnt.It was hard at the time but valuable nevertheless.
