It is all too familiar
When I took my Jekyll and Hyde two year old adoptive son to a doctor and then to another one and another one and kept trying
I finally got a referal to a Public Children's Psychiatric Unit - of course I was on a waiting list
The Dx was wonderful - the kid's okay - sedate the mother
I so totally know where all your posts spring from
All the crap people had to say
- He's angelic - he could never be naughty
- You've got to do something about that child
- (Phone call) - your son is throwing rocks from the railway over pass onto cars running underneath
- (5 mintues later) Your son is vandalising plants in the public park
- 10 minutes later) It's Constable sonso for the local police station - we have your son in the lock up - will you come and get him
All in the one day......................
As I started -oh dear
Perhaps it's not we the unfortunate parents who are blinded to the truth - it's everyone else who just don't see them in all their gory behaviour
