I have Caroline's MiniMed supplies shipped to me automatically.  It's great....just about the time I'm starting to run out, I have a brand new box of supplies on my doorstep.

Interesting, though....I haven't ordered reservoirs in over 18 months.  I still have 22 boxes.  How did I stockpile reservoirs and not sites?  It just doesn't make sense.  We don't always use a new reservoir when we change Caroline's site, but it seems to just be a huge inconsistency.

Does anyone else have that same problem?

My cozmo supplies come with 25 reservoirs in a box, and 10 sets per box.  Every 3 months I get 50 (2 boxes) of reservoirs and only 40 (4 boxes) of sets. Then I change my site every 3 days, but only change the reservoir when it is empty (5-7 days).  Also, I tend to use a reservoir twice before i toss it. So for me a reservoir lasts through several site changes. I found that my reservoirs were piling up so I haven't ordered any in about 18 months. I wish I could pile up sets that way.

I get my supplies directly from Medtronic, and they send me 4 boxes of insertion sets along with 4 boxes of reservoirs, which equals 40 each.  Somehow, over the years, I have ended up with fewer reservoirs than insertion sets, but it's not nearly that far out of alignment...I maybe have 3-5 more boxes of insertion sets than reservoirs.
