cheers debs, as you might know im certainly feeling the effects of some transits right now, one thing i have noticed is when a planet passes over my north node i can feel the energy very strongly, after doing some research i found out that i have a cluster of midpoints around my north node too which is why the experience of transits over my NN are so intense. right now saturn is there and he is squaring my natal uranus.i also have transitting neptune squaring natal chiron and transitting pluto opposing natal sun also hades which represents "disintergration" is conjunction my sun and involved in that opposition. overall right now i feel parts of me need to change,to be disgarded ,like a big internal change that will shift to an external change through a metamorphosis of myself and my consciousness. if it dosnt happen through external events i will certainly spend alot of time preparring myself right now to change in the future. |

yea ,you could do .ill find the article which i read to learn abit more about hades. maybe there are some clues there ,there are also some asteroids which may shed some light on things. here is what i do whenever i try to investigate anything like this,basicly i look at it with every possible tool in astrology ,arabic parts ,degrees, midpoints ,asteroids, all combined togther hopefully this would provide enough to build a significant picture.as certain practices within astrology show different sides to things,it can help isolate key things within the different variables involved.for instance the arabic parts could show something to confirm that he is missing (cant remember if there is a 'part of being missing' ,probably is? or something to that nature) while another facet of astrology could show the time that events occured.all put together it helps build a clearer picture.i often try and do this whenever im investigating or researching anything,i look for the links between things which could help determine a direction in which events are unfolding. in terms of the transits ,i looked at the meaning behind hades in the chart and noticed it moves very slowly (i think its only been a few years its been active within my chart,since it hit the main t-square not too long ago). theres a few reasons why ive been looking at these transits in alot of depth,im aware i have some problems i need to change,but the combination of things happening recently made me think my problems are something that needed to be fixed asap. i had a dream a couple of months back which spoke of a date which is coming up soon.i thought nothing of it at the time until i looked at what would be happening on those dates.i am slightly worried about these things which is why i feel its best for me to know as much about them as possible. often i feel subconscious forces at work but have a failure to recognise them simply because i put up restrictions (saturn). if i put them at the forefront of my consciousness by means of looking at my transits through charts at least then i can try and work best with the subtle influences that are at work and i might find it easier to embrace them rather than dismiss them. it can be easy for me to talk myself out of a situation and to stop myself from actually helping myself ,ive done this before on many occassions ,because i dont want to face the challenge simply because of a feeling of inadequacy of being able to conquer the problem and the oncoming energy. maybe it would help to see the proof of the disintergration but then if the disintergration dosnt happen i could put it down to myself avoiding the situation not facing up to it and just being incredibly lucky! ,in a sense the current transits worry me because often if the oncoming energy dosnt take one form it may take another i may have to watch my health. i think the energy could help me "dissolve" (hades) and transform (pluto) negative patterns operating within my ego (sun) the end result being a rebirth of myself and my current consciousness.afterall its energy we are receptive to so we can utilise even the most destructive energy for betterment of ourselves. |

"THE GALACTIC CENTER, SPICA, ARCTURUS, AND THE ZERO POINT" this Site will "blow your socks off", LOL. It takes much intellectual gyrations, to get a grasp I think (I'm not up to it, ), but definately caught my eye, because it references, the "Galactic Center", and the zero point, Edgar Cayce, and my favorite, the mentor & guru of Yogananda's, Sri Yukeswar on which the article rests for dating..... You'll need much time to get thru this one, I think I'll go eat dinner first, lol. Maybe I'll just start a new page to keep various links on since this prediction seems to be so widespred, concerning the Galactic Center, and coming changes. I'll put your link on it as well. |

looking at my western chart ,i noticed when trying to find aspects or positions that could show a particular part of my personality i had trouble on a few occasions, im very laid back for a gemini rising/gemini sun ,unbelievably so. perhaps the influence of venus conjunct sun could explain that but i dont think that would make me slow in action? as i tend to work quite slowly.i also have quite a sensual side and i prefer alot of quiet time relaxing which is quite taurean.my sister jokes and says im lazy and ive often wondered why she got that impression of me.i have a bit of a sweet tooth aswell. musically i have written wide ranging styles of music and i have an interest in music that crosses the board.i do like music that has a certain amount of intensity but my forte when making music seems to be with music that is slow ,chilled out and relaxing.i have tried to write music that is very fast and heavy but i seem to have more trouble. mars in leo to a certain extent seems to fit my charachter aswell as the association between ego and anger seem close,as in i tend to get angry and wound up when things damage my ego. im very sensitive to others,that could be down to mercury in cancer and sun/asc opposite neptune ,i tend to have very sensitive emotions aswell which can be seen with a cancer moon. |

something else I just learned from our member chrys, is that the MOON in Sidereal Astrology is indicative of our MIND, not just emotions, so the Vedic Astrologers pay particular attention to it, moreso, she says then the Sun. The Sun (she considers as soul) but the Moon is our everyday mannerisms, re-actions, etc. in the mundane world, so it is very important supposedly. Also, I'm learning that the houses, as depicted as fundamentals in Western Astrology, may have slightly parrallel but subtle differences too, in Vedic /Astrology. For instance, the 3rd in Western for us is the mind, but in the Vedic, it may be the 5th??...........I can't recall, would need to do research, but there are subtle differences. I wish that chyrs would post again, and help us out, but we may need to research these house differences on our own. |

If Flash would send me his birth data, then I could pinpoint
the differences he has mentioned in the houses.
In Magi astrology, they do not care about houses, they only
care about relationships (angles) of the planets, and are big on
seeing a pattern of planets (kite, hourglass, etc.) to predict the
characteristics of an individual.

The planets do go through cycles and we can predict what they
may look like in the future (Mayan prediction of 2012), but the houses
depend so much on the correct ascendant time, that everything can be
off if you don't have the right rising time. This makes the
importance of the houses suspect to me.
Then there is the situation of with precession of the equinox.
There are all kinds of different corrections (Ayanamsa) to get the
coordinates the way they should be between the Tropical and Sidereal
systems. In other words, when astrology began, the assumption was
that the sunrise on the first day of Spring was 0Aries0, and went on
through the year to 30Pisces29. Now the spring comes and the
constellation is Pisces. The signs have moved backwards due to the
wobble of the earth (attitude or slope or angle) as it is related to
the space around it. Getting too technical here.
The method of calculating the "real" sidereal placements
varies. Just by a minute or even by seconds, but they vary.
As someone said, who only uses Tropical, at least with
starting with 0Aries0 , the Tropical astrologers are consistent in
their results, unlike the sidereal ones.

Since I am a Chinese-American, I feel simply awful about how
the Korean, Cho, could have snapped and killed so many wonderful
others. I remember growing up being taught to just suck up all
injustices and carry on.

is that? This is such an American thing, (I feel that I am an
American, born and raised in California) to be offended and then get
revenge on innocents.
Actually, it is a lot like George Bush.
All the black holes that Lilli brings up and the fixed stars,
etc. I don't use them or have really studied them. It sounds,
though, as if they pepper the skies, and just about everybody could
have them in their chart?
Perhaps Lilli could educate me?

When and if anyone does, it's a disservice to the whole, and certainly , sick to do so... After all, we can easily see in Columbine's similar Massacre two white kids, from affluent neighborhoods, do the same, as people from ALL races, all neighborhoods, are subject to snapping, (mentally)....... I personally see a much larger picture, as souls all on earth, including the victims, as "playing a role", in this life for a larger more abstract Soul learning, for all. Each of us inserts a kind of role when we come to life on this plane, some of us play the martyr, some of us the victim, some of us the agressor (like Columbine or Cho) But ALL of us, on another realm of the spirit AS YOU KNOW, are ultimately connnected, and part of each other on another scale not seen here. We must learn to forgive, those who falter, as we all have in us the same (and can falter, or have a mental illness or whatever) in the ongoing changing of roles from one lifetime to another........... We all need to Create then a "larger picture" of our role in this universe we all share.,IMO. Even G.W. Bush & Cheney, (bad as they are), do play a role in the emerging consciousness that we all share and are growing towards (together)..... It's a shame people will find fault & blame, and not see the larger picture as the Buddha tried to tell us about, as well as Jesus, but not all of us are equipped to understand, other then linear thought.

As far as her earlier interest then in the new "Black Holes", I've posted a thread just for that awhile back. Here it is, (so you may enjoy reading some of it)....... hi chrys , my chart is pretty much open for analysis,so if you wish to have a look please feel free :) ive been studying the precession aswell and looking into the fact that the real zodiac contains a 13th sign,orphiuchus.

you know,this really got me thinking if the tropical interpretations are bang on but the sidereal ones are not then what is going on? and i kind of went onto a really esoterical thought which might be abit far out for alot of people.what if its not the constellations inflence atall? in that its something else that is influencing us? something bigger beyond the constellations,something with our level of human understanding and technology we cannot understand or trace? |
