I am. Are you on a low carb plan like atkins? i figured out today that i cant stop eating and drinking  the things I love i just have to switch it.....the trick I found was that whatever soda you like ....switch to diet. to me the diet mountain dew tastes the same as regular..but it has 0carbs....Hotdogs I found that frishes brand weniers have only 1carb each. just thought i would share

I totally hear you on the soda thing....we call it pop in Canada lol....But as much as I try and opt for water I usually find myself with a pop instead! My mom used to drink Diet Coke all the time but I hate the taste! Maybe I'll have to try some of the other diet's....Thanks for the tip!

I don't care for the diet pop, and now they're sweetening with Splenda, which gives me terrible headaches. I guess I just have to stick with water.

Great ideas
I grew up on diet pop instead of regular, and to this day, I can't drink regular pop. It seems so thick and sugary to me. Diet pop rules! There are a lot of great substitutions that have less fat and less carbs. I don't do the whole carb thing, I focus on fat grams...so I really enjoy those fat-free chips they make now. Although...don't eat too many or you'll wind up on the toilet all day! LoL Sugar-free popsicles and the fat-free fudge pops are really yummy, too! I recommend them!

I'm not into the diet pops either.  I get bored with just plain water also so I buy Crystal Lite and add it to my water.  I've been buying the single packs for individual bottles of water but instead of adding it to the small bottles of water as they suggest, I buy the 2 liter bottle and add it to that.  I find that its too much just for one small bottle.  I just want my water to be flavoured litely! lol  Other times I just squeeze some lemon or lime in my water for a different taste.
I try to stay away from the carbonated drinks totally as I have acid reflux and the carbonation just makes it worse.

Has anyone tried flavoured water? I drink a couple of bottles of that in a week and it's a great pop replacement (although if anyone tries to seperate me and my diet pepsi, I may have a breakdown) :)

Has anyone tried the new teas?  Lipton, puts them in bottles, their is lemon, citrus and green tea and my favorite, Peach...they are sugar free, carb free and delicious.  I treat myself to a diet coke after I drink 2 bottles of water, this had really gotten me motivated to drinking more water.  Also I drink a bottle of water before heading out for my walk and a bottle afterwards, rest a bit then treat myself to the diet coke.

I like the Crystal Lite too.  Now that it is summer the lemonade is wonderful!

I drank diet soda since I was little. Could never see myself putting that much sugar into my body. However, I like iced tea which is full of sugar...have you tried Crystal Light? I don't know if they are Atkin's friendly but they are so good!
Good luck on your diet!!!
