Yuku was one of the first sites we visited in our quest for our transition from MSN. We have re-visited it and think it may be better suited for us than the Aimoo site.
Posting is pretty much the same on both sites. The main difference is our ability to manage the site. Aimoo has proved to be extremely........challenging? LOL! The Yuku site seems much easier and the Yuku help forums are much more "helpful".
We can also easily make the site "Private", however, I'll wait to do that to give all our members time to easily join.
I know......yet another site for you to have to become a member of!! We appreciate your patience during this transition. Please know that we are trying our best to find a place to move our family where everyone will be satisfied and happy!
LOL Jonesy, I wasn't sure and I wanted you to know I wasn't complaining about it. I was in a rush when I worte the message and sometimes I sound abrupt when I am. HUGS.
I can't changfe my avatar. I completely deleted the snoopy and he still get put on every post I make. I made a different avatar under my profile and still snoopy. I checked out their support group and it says I am changing it the right way. Be very careful of the avatar you choose, you may be stuck with it for lifeSo may I apologize now for the spastic snoopy you all will have to see everytime I post
I see what ya mean --I tried to change mine and according to my profile it changed but when I post it is the same one I had-----This just sucks if ya can't change==arghhhh. I'm leaning to Aimoo now.
Jakey, I'm seeing a smiley walking up some stairs. Is that the new one. I also see Bubu over and angel. I think if you leave the board and come back you will notice it's changed.
The smiley on stairs was my first avatar and I changed it to the dark side --cookies thing.My profile shows the chnge but posts still have old smiley butt. I logged out and reurned and reposted but still smiley butt--arghhhh
It doesn't matter. I have signed in and out on two different computers and still the snoopy when I post. I even deleted the image of snoopy there and left only the angel and still snoopy appears when I post. I hope you all like your avatars because you are stuck with them,lol. Only a minor irritation, not a big deal.
