I'm about halfway thru her first novel, crime thriller 'Blindsighted', and its fookin brilliant. Great characters, very descriptive and a great story. I have no idea so far who dunnit!! I'll update when I've finished but I have her second one too and I'm really glad I bought them.

This really was brilliant. I had no inkling of who it was till the end. She is well worth reading if you like a damn good crime thriller and dont mind the shock element.

I've recently finished her second too Day. Called 'Kisscut'. I must warn you all being mums etc that it is based on a pedophile ring, but shocking as that sounds and is, the way she writes makes it a damn good crime thriller. Theres no real detail as far as the abuse goes, or I wouldnt have been able to read it. Again the shock element is right there, and I really enjoyed this book.

I'm a real fan and am halfway through her 3rd book - fantastic - she's gritty but you just can't put her books down.

I've read all Karin Slaughter's books, she's a brilliant writer, does anybody else like Patricia Cornwall and Martina Cole?  I demolish their books.

Happy Reading

I've not read Martina Cole yet but I've read the first two Scarpetta novels by Patricia. I have all her Scarpetta novels on top of my bedroom tv ready to read, all but Trace.
I'm nearly finished Kathy Reichs 'Fatal Voyage', then next to read is Val Mcdermid's 'A place of execution'

Oh yea hun definately. The series tends to flit back and forth through their relationship anyway so it wont wont spoil the books for you. Blindsighted is the first one and I guarantee you'll love it Nic
