Is that unbelievable or what?

 

This is 2006. How sad for this mom. You'd think by now people would be accepting no matter someone's sexual preference. All the politically correct people out there. Where are they when these young people get bashed?

 

Totally I understood why she mentioned people of color. That's a big debate. Black people say "I couldn't choose my color, but they had a choice". That makes me angry to no end.

Ummm, as a minority you get to marry (legally) and your spouse has health care which will cover you. God forbid you pass away your spouse will get your pension, the house, the car and you sure easily can have children biologically or adopt.

 

Gays have none of those rights. None. If they do get to adopt it's one hell of a process.

 

There should be no comparrison. Every single gay person in this US should be able to marry legally. No question about that. Heck, some gays have been with their partner way longer than some herosexual marriages.
