I wish you a great blessed day and will leave you with this thought.

Stand up for what you believe in, stand for something or you will fall for anything. Have a nice day, love & hugsss

Choose your life

What is the difference between a life of joy and accomplishment, and a life of despair ? What is the difference between a day spent effectively, and a day of idleness ?

What is the difference between positive direction and certainty, and just drifting along?

The difference comes from making choices. Look around you. The things that make up your world are the result of choices. The house where you live, your job, the size of your bank account, your family, the car you drive, the books on your shelf. All choices.

You can choose the life you want. Not in one single momentous choice, but in the little choices you make every day.

Each day you choose when to wake up, what to eat, how much work you do, how much money you spend or save, how you talk to your children, how willing you are to learn.

These are the choices that determine your life, and you make them every day.

Everything you do is a choice -- an opportunity, that you cannot escape, to build your life. What that life becomes is entirely up to you. - Ralph Marston

"Human models are more vivid and more persuasive than explicit moral commands." -Daniel J. Boorstin (1914 - )

An example is an illustration - it's the action in the saying that "actions speak louder than words.

" Our behavior, whether we're aware of it or not, sets an example to whomever is watching. We're sending subtle messages all the time.

Are we paying attention to our own behavior and what it is "saying" about us?

Attend to the gaps

?FONT size=6>Practice silence and you will acquire silent knowledge. In this silent knowledge is a computing system that is far more precise and far more accurate and far more powerful than anything that is contained in the boundaries of rational thought.?

-- Deepak Chopra

When I was being taught Vipashyana meditation, I was guided to experience the stillness that naturally arises in the moments between the in and out breaths. And Eckhart Tolle recommends becoming aware of the spaces between words.

He says that stillness brings awareness of silence, and it’s in the silence that we can experience being fully awake. Consciousness is beyond thought activity. There’s more power in the gaps between the words than in the words themselves.

?FONT size=6>In the sweet territory of silence we touch the mystery. It’s the place of reflection and contemplation, and it’s the place where we can connect with the deep knowing, to the deep wisdom way.?nbsp; - Angeles Arrien
