You have been gone pert near 3 months.. I have your picture of you and Chris at his college graduation on my counter and its the first picture I see coming and goin. Girl I miss you soooooooooo much.. I know you are with Granpa, your brother Les and the rest of the clan. I write to you in green because of the luck of the Irish...Your birthday came and went June 13th. You would have been 91...Please save a spot for me...when I get up there someday--we will look at your seahorses, have a cup of coffee and then howl at the moon together..I love you Gramma with all my heart... I miss my grandma too. She died almost 1 year ago. She was 74 yrs old. I helped take care of her during her last 2 yrs or so of life. She had ailing health due to sugar problems. she had kidney failure, heart problems. I was the last person to see her alive. I took her for her treatments and then a half hour later we got teh call. I still remember everything about taht day. She died on the machine. I had to get the clothes she was gonig to wear to be buried in. Sort of ironic, my grandma used to take care of me when i was little, and then the roles got switched. My daughter who is 4 knows she is in Heaven, but misses her a lot. we went to take care of her daily, several times. My daughter learned to wrap an ace bandage around a swollen leg. I planted flowers in her memory when she died and they came up this spring. it was a nice reminder of her. graceful |
