1 cup flour                     Peach Cobbler
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 stick butter or margarine

2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 cup sugar

In a bowl, dump 1 cup of sugar over the fresh fruit. (I do this cobbler with peaches, strawberries, apples, and blackberries.) Let that stand for about an hour or till the sugar dissolves and is like a glaze.

In a deep round baking pan, (at least 4 inches deep and about 8-9 inches across) melt the stick of butter. You can do this in the microwave or just by sitting it in the preheating oven for a minute....I use the microwave.

In a bowl, mix the 1 cup milk, 1 cup flour, and 1 cup sugar together...mixture will be very thin and runny.  Pour this mixture into the pan on top of the butter.  Then, dump the fruit and sugar mixture in on top of the flour mixture.

Do NOT stir. Just put in the oven like it is, and the crust will rise up through all that fruit juice and come to the top and bake nicely.

Bake for about an hour in a 350 degree oven or until nice and brown on top.

Serve warm, it's heavenly!
