Feng Shui (wind and water)

 Feng Shui is the ancient Chineese art of placement.The theories are based upon that everything on this earth carries a certain energy that envoke a feeling or action.The energies around us can really effect our lives.More & more people are becoming aware of the power we have to change unwanted negative energy in our homes & lives by introducing Feng Shui .The two basic approaches to using Feng Shui are Form & Compass(although the more popular its becoming--the more ways seem to pop up).The Chineese method is more based on a Chineese compass(Luo pan),the homeowners birthdates & numerical studies.This study is most effective when you are building a new home and can choose where to place your rooms.The Form method uses the Bagua as more of the center for beginning & is much easier interperted into the surroundings you are currently in.I've found it to be very effective and through studying both ways-I prefer to use the Form method.

       Now that we have the basics down(well some-lol),I would like to explain how/why/when I was introduced to Feng Shui.As many of you know,I currently run my own cleaning business to pay the bills.Not the most fun,glamorous or spiritually lifting type job-although-I'm always here for my child (before & after school) and thats my priority.Most days I blare the headphones & deal unitl its time to go home.There was this one particular house that I cleaned (and still do)every other wednesday.A rather large house(translation-pain in the butt!!),defintiley not one of my highest paying clients(translation-cheap!).For some reason everytime I was there-all I could do is think of all these great things to do & personality flaws to change,bridges to mend etc..I would find myself coming home from there & wanting to spring clean(yes-after 4 hrs straight of cleaning there!!!!),calling an old friend,wanting to have intimate talks with my fiance  etc....I couldnt understand why I was always so happy and positive once I was there & even after I left.(this is not a fun house to clean!!)This was way before I had heard about Feng Shui some years back.To make a long story short-for a year I was awestruck at the positive emotions & aspirations I had while there.Met a woman who discussed Feng Shui with me(I was like Feng Who?).Was immediately interested.Studied a little.Finlly I brought it up to this homeowner I cleaned for & asked her if she'd heard of it.She replied "Heard of it????I've had my entire house Feng Shui'd by a friend of mine--can you tell?"  YES! I COULD TELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

    So ,many years & much studies & workshops later,Feng Shui is a passion with me & I hope it becomes one with you!I will add tidbits of info on Feng Shui each week here!(yes Mortisha's been sweeter than ever & let me have a board for my ramblings lol)!Please in the meanwhile---KEEP ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE COMING!!!!!!!!I WOULD LOVE TO ANSWER THEM!   Love and light
