Psychic Gifts  

 

You will know when it is time for you to develop your psychic gifts. Some of you will have a very strong urge or desire to develop your abilities. There is nothing in particular that would push you in that direction except for what your heart is telling you. A small percentage of you will have life altering experiences (accidents, coming back to life after being clinically dead), which activate your abilities. Some of you will experience unusual events such as:

     Hearing someone’s voice when there is nobody else around you
     Seeing people or beings made from light and energy around you
     Seeing energy which could be in various forms(a bird flying across the room or a shape floating in the air)
     Seeing flashes of light or
     Having an out-of-body experience or dreams of a more psychic nature 

These experiences will occur so frequently that you will want to go searching for answers and understanding. This is normal.  As souls, we are concentrating on the process of Ascension and becoming one with a Higher Power Filled With Light and Love.  (You should also rule out any physical reasons for these events happening.) Prior to having these events happen, you may have less obvious experiences such as:

     Seeing things out of the corner of your eye
     Sensing someone or something around you when physically you are alone
     Picking up the feelings of another person
     Knowing when someone is going to phone you or when something is wrong
     Having a dream or vision that comes true
     Hearing someone’s thoughts  
     Having a heightened sensitivity to noise, lights and crowds.

        Clairaudient -

(Hearing) To perceive sounds or words from a spiritual realm. Clairaudients are psychics who hear voices and sounds which give them information.

        Clairempathy -

(emotion) To sense or "feel" the emotions of another person. Empaths are similar to clairsentients in using feeling as a psychic tool, but they are more limited.  Empaths are able to use feelings to pick up on what others are feeling, both emotionally and physically.

        Clairgustance -

(Taste) To perceive the essence of a substance through taste from the spiritual realm or ethereal realms.

Awareness of an entity on the other side by the sense of taste. A sense experienced in the mouth. It could by a favorite food associated with a deceased entity, or in many instances the way a deceased person prepared the food to taste

Clairscent -

(Smell) To smell a fragrance or odor coming from the spirit realm or ethereal realms. given(Clear Smelling). To smell a fragrance or odor coming from the spirit or ethereal realms. The ablity to smell things that may be the results of subtle energy. The ablity to smell things that may be the results of sublt energy. orresponds with the physical sense of smell. 

        Clairsentience -

(sensation or feeling) To perceive information by a 'feeling within the whole body". Clairsentients are similar Clairaudients, but don't audibly hear voices or visually see pictures.  They simply feel  specific information.

        Clairtangency -

(Touching) More commonly known as Psychometry. To handle an object or touch an area and receive information about the article or it's owner. Psychometry.  Psychometry is a tool used by many psychics to pick up on the energy field of the person being read.  In psychometry, an object belonging to the client and usually carried by the client (such as a ring, or keys) is held in the hand, and a reading is  while holding the object. 

 Clairvoyant -

(vision) To visually perceive "within the minds eye" something existing in that realm.Clairvoyants are psychics who see images or pictures.  Clairvoyant literally means "clear-seeing".  The clairvoyant psychic must interpret the pictures or images.

Channel -

A person who allows his/her body and mind to be used as a mechanism to bring psychic information or healing energy to others.

        Channeling -

To allow a spirit from the spirit realm to enter one's mind and impress thoughts upon the consciousness to be spoken aloud, using one's voice, or body to deliver the information or healing energy.

There are numerous tools to focus and develop one's psychic ability.  Here are some of the common ones.

Tarot cards.  Tarot is one of the most common tools used by psychics, as it is easy to learn and conducive to opening up to your intuitive side.

Palmistry.  Palmistry is an old art that is based on some specific rules, like astrology, but also has a strong intuitive element to it.  It is based upon specific lines in the hands and their specific properties.  Most palmists I know are also clairvoyants or another type of "pure" psychic, and combine both.

Astrology.  Astrology is a separate topic altogether, but I wanted to mention it here, as there are intuitive astrologers around.  Many astrologers use no other method to read a client other than astrology, but some combine astrology with other forms of divination, or use their own intuitive abilities to more precisely read a client's chart.

Other oracles.  Other tools include the I Ching, Runes, and Casting Stones. 

Meditate, relax, or do whatever you can that allows your subconscious mind to come forward.

Don't dismiss those things that seem to "pop into your head out of nowhere".

It may take awhile to develop something, but if you are open and keep working on it, you should start to notice that you are more attuned than you were, and are acting on your intuition
