What you can do to help your situation with sink is place something representing the wood element nearby. This can be anything from your collection of wooden spoons,a bowl of fruit,a plant or wood cutting board. Also, for the drain area--keep that closed off as well when not in use.Your drain stopper can be left there at all times & lifted out when need be.Your trash under the sink is fine.Putting trash away(closing it off) is much better for positive chi.
As far as your sudden feelings of impatience in your kitchen there is much you can do.Most important--CLEAR THE CLUTTER!Countertops overloaded with items should be cleared.Items you are not using daily should be tucked away. This can definitley be the source of your diminishing enthusiasm in the kitchen.Your kitchen should be very easily cleared & cleaned after each meal preporation.Dealing with clutter behind closed cabinet doors is also a must.It is very easy to let those areas get clutters and unmanagable.Take stock now & then & rid or reorganize items so they are readily available for use & not a hassle to find.Also--if you keep your knife collection on countertop(in butcher block or elsewise)----put them away if posible or keep them at a safe distance from edges of counter tops where any danger element would be imposed.Overhead hanging racks are also a hazard. They become cluttered with heavy items. If you must store pots/pans in view, consider hanging them on a wall rack where they wont impose any threat. If you enjoy an overhead rack as a decorative item in your kitchen-use decorative & enhancing features only.
When preparing small meals we often tend to use the same burner often leaving the others unused.Try to balance the use of all the burners.Fluorescent lighting is not the best option for the kitchen. They cast a cold light & make people appear ghostly.Use incandescent lighting or halogen. If you must use fluorescent use fell spectrum bulbs.
I would also suggest finding a nice corner of your kitchen(counter ,wall or table) and place something kitchen oriented(decorative) that symbolises a pair. You need this to enhance your partnership/marriage energies.Perhaps some type of kitchen art.(photo of coffee & cream, peaches & cream--they go together-----a print of a 2 apples,2 candlesticks)anything that represents a harmonious pair-something soothing to the eye.Maybe a pair of your favorite coffee cups set on a favorite kitchen towel or napkin.Even a nice framed photo of the both of you together(one that holds great memories for you).
Enhance your kitchen with the full bagua map as well.Use your main entrance to kitchen when placing the bagua and place elements you love in areas fitting to the bagua for enhancement.Perhaps your collection of cook books in your knowledge area, your eating table(preferrably round) in your family, friends area,a nice round leafy plant near your wealth area,a kitchen oriented wreath in your fame sector or an image of someone you respect, any of the suggestions in the above paragraph in your partnership area, maybe your childrens work from school or a photo of them in your children area or toys/dolls-rocks,stones or metal items,--------an area with stools to sit in , items in white, grey or black, or your kitchen phone in your helpful people area.
These are all just basic suggestions.I'm sure you have plenty of your own ideas as far as enhancemnets.Try working on these areas and see how things improve there.I think perhaps as well--something that you love,is beautiful to look at,envokes good feelings & relaxes would be beneficial in your knowledge/ judgement area. This might make the feelings(judgements) you have there be more serene.A saying or quote you find uplifting and/or comforting could be great here.
Remember when enhancing the home through Feng Shui-ask yourself:
What possessions are located there?
Are they organized?
Do I love everything I see?
Do I see a correlation between whats located in each area & the
Quality of my life?
What can I improve?
What is the first area I'm going to work with ?
hope this helped!let me know how it goes!
