Alot of time is spent in our bedrooms. We especially need energies to be well here.Place your bed on solid walls.Do not place them on a wall that has windows. This enhances your feeling of safety & security here & doesnt allow energies to flow directly outwards. The bed also should never be where your feet are facing directly out the door. The belief with Feng Shui is that this is how the dead are carried out & not beneficial to good chi in your bedroom. For obvious reasons a headboard with  with a tombstone type shape is not beneficial.
Beds with rounded type edges are more preferred than more squared egdes.Pushing 2 twin beds together is also a quick way to put division & strife in your relationships.Try not to place a mirror within view from your bed.The chineese believe your soul leaves your body as you sleep & might be shocked by its own image.

Out bed is firmly up afainst the main wall...good.  Our bed is not facing the door...good.  However,  my husband's foot of the bed faces directly a small hallway in our bedroom that leads straight to the master bathroom.  I insist each night that this door be secured shut!  He thinks I'm crazy.  also,  the head of our bed is VERY square.  this is spooky!.  Also,  a mirror is perpandicular to our bed, yet reflects the "foot" of our bed and we cannot see ourselves while in bed nor even sitting in bed,(unless we are sitting closer to the foot). What do you think?

PS.  Also another bedroom tip....flowers in the bedroom are a faux pas and a mirror directly facing the bed (foot to foot) both can encourage a third party in the relationship.

I would suggest to leave that bathroom door closed when your husband & you retire to bed.If he is facing the bathroom entrance while he lays in bed you'll need to incorporate some cures. The situation youre sleeping with now leaves no seperation between bed & bath. This leaves the bathroom lacking in privacy & the bedroom lacking tranquility.Perhaps a nice size floor plant sitting by the hallway entrance-breaking up the flow from bed to bath or a decorative screen.Place them there and lay & look at the difference-the change in feel.  Also you sould have a view to the entrance of your bedroom from your bed------your feet just shouldnt be facing directly towards the entrance/exit.
I think the more concerning headboard shape is the more standard tombstone shape(slighly ovaled at the top-rainbow shape almost). If youre concerned with your square shaped headboard-replace or soften the corners with maybe some fabric draping your bed area & blissfully draped around edges of headboard.  Maybe a real cushy mattress cover can soften your very square bed as well & some real plush blankets.  Also equality on your areas of the bed are crucial! If he has a nightstand with lamp next to his side of the bed-------so should you!
If you can eliminate the mirror from your bedroom-this would be optimal. If you cant or really just rather not ----perhaps finding a way to close it off at night(decorative drape for wall mirrors) or continue making sure youre not seeing your reflection from the bed.
