The bathroom is a very important place in your home.How you choose to handle your Feng Shui challenges in this room can have alot to do with how the energy in the rest of your home will flow.

  The bathroom is dominantly a water room.Balance needs to be added by adding elements of the other energies.The earth element,by adding ceramic tiles or earthy colors.The fire element by adding  a lamp , some candles,or art depicting animals or people.The wood element by adding plants,flowers(even floral wallpaper).There are many different things you can to to bring in these elements.As far as the metal element,it is wisest not to accentuate this element in a bathroom.The metal element tends to hold & strenghten the water element.As the bathroom is already water dominated,you best acheive a balance without adding in the metal element.

 Now in addition to knowing you must achieve balance in this room,you need also consider what part of the baguua map your bathroom falls into.(having it in your wealth/prosperity sector is a NEGATIVE) If it falls into your love/marriage sector-make it sensual & fragrant.If in your health/family sector-make it bright & cheery!If it happens to fall into your wealth/prosperity sector-make it beautiful & luxuriuos.Rich red towels or curtains ,luxuriuos accessories,etc.

 keep door closed when possible

keep toilet seat down(yes guys there is something to this!!!!!!!!!!)

keep drains covered by plugs or mats made for that purpose

if possible,give toilet its own area not visible to rest of bathroom(curtain,half wall ect)

keep bathrooms clean & clutter free

when adjacent to a bedroom shield view from bedroom with a curtain,screen or door
