The thing I admire about decorating cakes -
If you slip, never fear! You can eat your mistakes.
Though experts all say "Toss it back in the bowl",
Eating sweet blunders is good for the soul,
For so often in life are lessons hard won
By mistakes we regret, but can't make undone.
How glaring our errors, so much on display,
As the world views the flaws we exhibit each day!
How nice it would be if all of our woes
Were as quickly erased as a crooked pink rose.
If crow, humble pie, and the words that create them
All went down as well wheever we ate them.
So let none be the wiser should rose petals wilt,
Or a bud in the making develop a tilt -
On these sweet faux pas it's pleasant to dine -
To err may be human - to eat'em's divine!
