My 18 months old female cat with the strange name of Mrs.Puss (she was named by volunteers at the Pound, and I didn’t want to change it) was dumped, very pregnant about 10 months ago outside our local Pound where I am a volunteer with Friends of the Pound. When the kittens were old enough a temporary home was needed for Mrs.Puss ?I volunteered. She was quite a handful at first (and I have had plenty of experience!) but after she was desexed she settled down quite a lot and now, except for the daily “mad?half hour is quite affectionate and follows me around the house ?loves her ping pong balls, and her mouse. She is quite a large and long cat for a female and I suspect there has been some feral in her family. If I am out, she sits waiting at the security door and when I return I get a very excited welcome. Needless to say, she won’t be going back to the Pound! |
