Maikki I am so very sorry for not seeing your message until now.
It is not your fault that Thabita died. You had no way of knowing that this would happen to her. Most of us are not aware of fip and how maybe to prevent it until it strikes one of our animals or other animals that we know.
Shar's Niko is still alive and is slowly gaining his health back. We are sure it was asthma and the vet wants to see him when he gets stronger. I am angry at the vet for breaking our hearts and souls with worry about Niko without doing a positive test for fip instead of second guessing he had fip. Yes he was a very sick kitty who displayed all the symptoms of fip. He is eating a wee bit more and is still bony but not as bad as he was. Maikki Shar and I laid awake for many nights after his original diagnosis from the vet.
I hope this never happens to another soul, Maikki.
Maikki I would not tolerate dirty habits with your attendants, either.
Cleanliness starts within the home and they have to abide by that.
Loves ya,
Maggie
