Click on these two links to discover what I found out about my kitten Snowden's name. As you all know Snowden is a Snowman in cartoons, stuffed Snowman dolls, holiday dishes, clothing etc He is popular.
I chose this name for my short haired Birman looking wannabee kitten because his feet are white like he walked thru snow and the rest of him is Seal Pt Siamese looking. Or in other words he looks like a Birman cat (origianly called Sacred Cat of Burma). Only a purebred is long haired.
Have wondered every since if the name Snowden means "Snowed in" like a snow storm or does it mean "Snow Den" like a cave in the snow to shelter. Or maybe neither.
I am surprised what I did learn. Read and see what happened when I googled "Origins Snowden name". You may just be inspired to Google your cat's name whatever it is to!
