Sarah, I am so sad to hear about Softy passing away. I know it´s hard to cope with each time it happens and you are forced to make it through.
I lost my Thabita in FIP on 17th of March. I still can't take it in and I am not feeling well after this. I really do understand what you are going through because Softy was very special to you as Thabita was to me. They are not just cats, they are the part of our families and lives. To loose any of them hurts very much.
My heart goes out for you.
