Hello again, Maikki!  So sorry to hear that you have had a lot more trouble, but thank Goodness, things seem to be settling down.  Funnily enough, for the last couple of months I have been wearing only one shoe - on my left foot - so I can walk reasonably straight.  The surgeon who is going to replace my left hip eventually, I hope, suggested only one shoe.  I spent a couple of weeks in hospital in the middle of May while the Doctors tried to do something with my pain management - I was in a rather bad way.  I have osteo arthritis plus the Rheymatologist thinks I have poly mialgia.  I have to have a lot of blood tests in a couple of weeks and go back to see him on August 13.  Ho Hum.  I walk now with what we call here a "wheelie walker" - four wheels two handles and usually a seat as well and it folds fairly flat to fit into a car boot.  I feel a lot more secure with that instead of a walking stick.       Hugs from      |
