Cat beds

A timid kitty will feel better if she has a safe hiding place in every room. A covered cat bed or a little kitty tent placed in a quiet corner of each room will help her spend less time under the bed and more time with you.

TIP:
How many litter boxes do you need? If you have one kitty and an average size house, one will do. But if you have a big house with many levels, a box on each story is best. More than one kitty? The best plan is one box for each cat, because some kitties refuse to share a litter box.

TIP:  If your kitty has fleas, your house and yard also have fleas and must be treated. If you take your flea-infested kitty anywhere in the car, your car has fleas, too.

TIP: How often should a litterbox be changed? Waste should be discarded from a litter box on a daily basis. This will keep odors and bacterial growth  to a minimum. Most cats will not use a dirty litter box, and may resort to eliminating elsewhere if this is the case. Use of the litter box will be encouraged if it is kept clean and free from waste.
